9. Gården delas, Per blir sjuk - The farm is divided per is ill

Bogg Per jämte hustrun Grubb Anna från Västäng, lät skriva ett testamente. Egendomen skulle delas mellan de fyra barnen: Anders, Anna, Per och Maria. Dokumentet finns kvar men är svårtytt. Man hade anlitat en myndighetsman för upprättandet och därefter själva signerat med bomärke.
"Per bror”, som Bogg Maria alltid kallade honom bodde i Bogg-gården liksom hennes familj och de gamla föräldrarna. Han led av bronkit och enligt Sigge följde svågern, Spjut Axel, med honom till Stockholm för att söka bot. Det var inte mycket, man kunde göra. Arbeta fick han trots allt.
Per for illa i i skogen: Skidor och snöskor, stora otympliga sågblad, övernattningar långt hemifrån i primitiva timmerkojor med eldpall i mitten och öppen rökgång. Sängbritsarna löpte efter väggarna. Fotändan var het och håret frös fast vid väggen.
Per blev sjuk och man hoppas, att han fick komma hem till gården och de sina, innan han dog. Det blev komplikationer, lunginflammation, en livsfarlig sjukdom på den tiden. Bogg Maria ärvde sin älskade "Per bror”.
Enligt kyrkböckerna var det TBC, som ändade hans liv.
Det finns ett foto av Per i uniform och kask. Han måste ha varit vid Rommehed en tid i sitt liv.

9. THE FARM IS DIVIDED
PER IS ILL

Bogg Per, together with his wife Grubb Anna from Västäng, made a will. The property should be divided between the four children: Anders, Anna, Per, and Maria. The document remains but has darkened. A government official was engaged for the writing of the document and thereafter certified it with his stamp.
‘Per Brother’, as Bogg Maria always called him, lived on the Bogg Farm, as well as her family and the old parents. Per suffered from bronchitis and, according to Sigge, went with his brother-in-law Spjut Axel to Stockholm seeking a cure. There wasn’t much that could be done. In spite of it all he was able to work.
Per became ill in the forest where he went on skis and snowshoes with a large olympic sized saw blade. He spent overnights far from home in a primitive log shelter with a fire in the center and open smoke hole. A bunk bed was along the wall. His feet were hot but his hair froze fast to the wall.
Per became ill and hoped that he could make it home to the farm and his loved ones before he died. Complications set in causing pneumonia, a life threatening illness in that time, but according to the church books it was tuberculosis which ended his life.
There is a photo of Per in his uniform in the casket. He must have been with the army at Rommehed sometime during his life.
